Rio Grande

Keystone XL sounds like a good story for Americans because it will create thousands of jobs, mostly in construction, and give Americans exclusive access to more oil supply that will make it easier to fill up at the pump. All oil, drilled from the earth, is a globally-traded commodity. Growing economic players like China, India and Brazil compete with the U.S. for this oil, which affects the price you pay at the pump. If you think gas companies care about your ability to afford 87 Octane or winter heating oil as an American, then you're the patsy at the table.
