It is time to eliminate all tolls on N.J. highways. Even if you don't use toll roads, toll costs are passed on to you by businesses. We should not keep tolls just to preserve toll taker jobs and the existence of the highway authorities. Eliminate the redundant highway authorities and put the Parkway, the Expressway, and the Turnpike under the control of NJDOT. Tolls are the most expensive way to fund highways.
