I have a friend who has fallen on hard times, and to feed her family she goes to the food banks. I took her to one food bank and the employee there told her she didn't belong at this one because of her address, and she was sent away. I thought food banks were for those in need, no matter where you live. It's clear this person has never fallen on hard times or they'd be more understanding. It's hard enough when you have to rely on the food bank, but to be humiliated by the staff is so embarrassing. Does the address really matter?
