The freeholders need to start using open space funds to preserve open space again, like the voters intended. Reach out to all landowners and offer to preserve their land. Stop wasting limited open space funds on bike paths, piers, athletic fields etc. Saving the land we have left from becoming the next housing development has to be the top priority.
