Recently had a conversation with a friend who owns a small business; he has the appearance that his business is very successful.Told me the jewel in the crown was when his wife returned to the work force and had employer subsidized health insurance. He said that her salary was helpful but employer subsidized health insurance is what made the difference in his financial plan; bigger house, bigger contributions to his children’s college fund and his IRA’s. Something is not right in America if health insurance is a huge economic burden to American families.
