Re: the spout using “Karen” as an insult. That term has become a gendered slur used to dismiss women. SpoutOff approved language targeting women, yet rejected a spout of mine calling discrimination against people with disabilities “bullying,” and edited another spouter that used the word “moron.” That inconsistency is concerning. If name-calling violates moderation rules, why was a pejorative like “Karen” approved? Consistent standards matter if this forum is meant to be fair.
