Re: Spout of the Week. I agree that there are many distracted, selfish drivers who pose a threat to cyclists (I am both a driver and a cyclist). However it is a 2 way street (pun intended). The percentage of irresponsible, oblivious, and even arrogant cyclists is very high. In the summer each day you will see scores of vacationing cyclists violating traffic laws but even the spandex clad “experts” often ride 2 and 3 abreast illegally impeding traffic and forcing motorists into oncoming traffic. I suggest both drivers AND cyclists employ the “golden rule.”
