Picture growing up here, graduating training school, becoming a police officer here, starting a family here and there is no where you can afford a house. However , corporations are buying single family homes, turning them into hotel-like rentals. You serve and protect these rentals but you can’t afford to live where you work . The system is broken . Our town will die. Something needs to be done .
