Patriotism Belongs to All of Us I strongly object to Congressman Van Drew’s assertion that Democrats don’t love America. I love America deeply. The America I knew before Trump, where criticizing a president was considered a right, not disloyalty, and political opponents were still fellow Americans. We can disagree about what is best for our country without questioning one another’s patriotism. America belongs to all of us, Congressman—not just those who agree with you.
