Our politicians should be the ones not getting paid during a government shut down. This has been proposed endlessly yet since the Senate and Congress never approve it. We need to run our government like a business. The people should vote on the proposal not the politicians that it affects. It’s time for politicians to be held accountable like employees and fired if they can’t do their job. No, they go on leave during a crisis and get healthcare for life. We live in a fantasyland with our political system. Term limits? Whatever happened to those?
