No matter who we voted for in local school elections, when people in Washington DC pulled strings, arms and legs moved down here. Ever since the Department of Education went into effect in 1979 test scores have gone down and cost per student has gone up. These are the numbers and they know no politics. It didn’t matter how much money we threw at it, education proficiency and efficiency went down in America. What Carter did back then is what Dems did on a massive scale over the last 4 years. Inserted whole levels of government that did little but get paid. Tests don’t lie.
