Ocean View - When will our so-called, educated politicians realize that pumping sand onto a beach with nothing to hold the sand in place is one of the dumbest things on earth? When will these same people realize that the sand they are pumping on the beaches ends up choking our inshore waterways? Pumping sand off the ocean floor onto beaches without anything to hold sand in place to withstand NE and SE winds is clearly against nature. But politicians seem too cuddled up to beach landowners and real estate people instead of listening to the citizens who enjoy the beach but don't live on beach lots.
