I have a Civil War cannon with its original carriage.

Ocean View - I have a Civil War cannon with its original carriage. It was made in Phoenixville Pa. My great grandfather bought it from a scrap dealer when it was about to be melted for a WW2 metal drive. Does anybody know the value of something like this, and are we allowed to have? Has been in the barn since 1942.
