Dennis Township Committee just approved an ordinance increasing

Ocean View - Dennis Township Committee just approved an ordinance increasing the salary ranges for township committee persons. Murphy tried to raise his own salary and the salaries of his fellow committee buddies two years ago, but he reneged on pushing this through due to the fact that many career employees in Dennis Township government took substantial pay cuts to balance a budget. Now that he is retiring, taxpayers should keep a careful eye out that Murphy does not push a farewell pay raise through in December after the November election. My guess is that "business as usual" is already set up.
