Ocean View - To the commenter who replied to the spout about the benches are to serve to memorialize people just like the Spouter who loved to take relaxing walks down the promenade. It is a heart warming memory for their family and friends who pass that way. What a soul-less statement. They are overtaking the promenade and are apparently being put up all over Sea Isle without approval from the city. How about they put them on their properties instead if public property. If I get hurt on one who do I sue? the city or those who put the bench there?
