Why isn't the county road department maintaining the roadways it owns? This summer, I traveled along a lot of county roads, and most had grass over a foot high, and tall weeds at intersections. If we're trying to attract tourists to the area, the roadways should look the part. I find it hard to believe the county road department doesn't own a weed whacker or some weed killer. Don't even get me started on the potholes and cracks in the roads.
