Noticed one of Menendez’s legal arguments, that was thrown out of court, was as a Senator he had immunity-further noticed that there was not a ground swell of support from Democrats supporting this fallacious defense. I do note that many Republicans support Donald Trumps arguments that presidential immunity protects him from prosecution for his many illegally acts. Appears MAGA supporters do not believe that any elected official included the Presidency are governed by laws and holding an elected office does not grant immunity-in essence our laws are more powerful then the Presidency.
