A local paper (not Herald.)had an article on Rights of bike riders in New Jersey which I found depressing . Those of us driving cars are responsible for maintaining highways with our gas tax and other taxes on vehicles . Bikes pay for nothing AND NJ spend our tax dollars on bike paths that Only 1-2% of bike riders in CMC use , the others use our roads and don’t wear helmets as required under certain ages. How about Bike Riders who use our highways contribute to the Highway Fund with a license or some other fee? No Democrats in Trenton would never do that instead they will raise gas taxes
