It's WAY past time to revamp our electoral processes, if a prisoner can be heard by a court and you can see your doctor remotely, well, it's time. With the technology available to us there is no excuse we don't know the results in 30 minutes after the bell rings, however, this cannot be trusted to a third party, everyone from the programers to the people that staff the help line need to A) be paid well and B) face the death penalty for criminal actions.
