The gun,anti gun arguments are always weak. If magically you had Mexico's laws here tommorow with no one owning a gun but the government, guess what, the criminals would still have guns (as they do in Mexico) . Just enforce the laws on the books, if you think taking firearms away from law abiding citizens will help the situation, i believe that you are wrong.
