Ocean City - Those of us who have studied history, or even just paid attention in high school western civilization class, remember reading about the downward spiral intro the socialist hell that enveloped Russia in the first quarter of the last century. We read the chapters as they played out like a Greek tragedy. Now, I read the news, and see frightening parallels in our own country today. Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it. Yes, Russia was a dysfunctional and disconnected monarchy then, but our circumstances are not that different, and we have instant miscommunication.
