Ocean City - Please, everyone on Spoutoff, stop referring to our great country as a democracy. We are a constitutional Republic not a democracy.A Democracy means( Mob Rule) or in other words-the worst of the population running the country for their own benefit, or 2 wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner. A Republic is the best of the population running the country for everyones benefit.I pledge allegiance to the flag and to the REPUBLIC (Not Democracy) for which it stands.Ben franklin stated when asked what kind of Government we have-"A Republic, if you can keep it" We are losing it very fast!
