Ocean City - Over the years, I have become kind of numb to people talking (private conversations) in church. I don’t like it, but I can’t stop it, or so it seems. I was really blown away Sept. 16 by two women who were not only talking but texting someone and showing each other the texts. Church is a place for prayer and contemplation or even loud singing and affirmation. But, chatting and texting are way out of place. If they didn’t really ‘believe,’ how about respecting the people around them who do.
