Ocean City - It's amusing that some spouts talk about "younger, more appealing" candidates. This is the legacy of our television age and now our internet culture. JFK's good looks and charisma blew away any chance Richard Nixon had in the 1960 election after the first televised presidential debate. Obviously, Barack Obama's charm, good looks and youth outran Mitt Romney, regardless of the fact that Obama was clearly the lesser qualified of the two. In today's world, a tall, gawky, ugly man with a squeaky voice could never get elected. Yes, Lincoln's greatness would have been lost if they relied on TV.
