A comment on one of the many public pension spouts shows the lac

Ocean City - A comment on one of the many public pension spouts shows the lack of understanding on the part of some taxpayers. The comment implied that when tax funds are used as employer contribution for pensions, the taxpayer gets nothing. How far from true. The taxpayer gets whatever service the employee provides: police, trash collection, public health, roads, etc. These spouts, like so many other negative spouts on all topics, seem envious. People take jobs based on what rewards it provides and pensions attract people to government service, jobs which anyone can apply for.
