Ocean City - The agenda for the freeholder meetings have been posted later & later in the past 12 months. Still none up for the May 27 meeting and with May 26 a holiday, the public will get their first look at it on the day of the meeting. The more transparent the politicians claim to be, the harder it gets to know what's going on. As a handicapped and generally housebound taxpayer, I depend on the agendas & minutes to keep informed & to plan ahead should I want to attend. It helps if they are actually informative & not overly vague. Improvement is needed all around by the current board in this area.
