A very wise Dennis Twp. spouter already remarked about the impending season of bicycle carelessness that is approaching. There needs to be some serious education and/or enforcement from Cape May to Ocean City. Bicyclists do not realize that they are operating vehicles, and they are not pedestrians. Too many people are injured or killed every year on bikes, and far too many automobile and truck drivers endure too much anguish because bicycling rules of the road are neither taught nor enforced. Write a few cyclists some summons and you might wake them up. It would make a good Herald article.
