To the spouter who said they had to raise their home on stilts due to global warming.That's not why, you had to raise it because of global greed.Our officials keep jamming houses in every little space they can find,the resultant overbuilding and overcrowding over the natural land mass with concrete sidewalks, roads,playgrounds,dogparks is why we have flooding.The water has no where to go but rise up around all theses homes packed in like sardines in a can.The only option to stilts is to move away from the shore area to less congested land mass where the rain water can be absorbed by the earth!
