Ocean City

It is my understanding that the city wants to increase the license (fee) for the hard-working boardwalk entertainers that make our world a better place. My question to the city is this: did you reach out to the performers to get their input on this; and if you didn't, why? It is also intriguing that one of the council members is a boardwalk merchant and has publicly complained about the entertainers, not just in terms of noise, but quality. That should automatically disqualify that person's vote. This decision should be up to the musicians, and We the People, not Them the Politicians.
