I feel sorry for Ukraine, and I also feel sorry for the United States' wallet. If you're going to invest heavily in a war, you should win it. Looks like Ukraine is going to get to spend 2 months firing a few of those long-range missiles, almost just for kicks. Then the faucet will be turned off as soon as Trump takes office. Sad. But in the eyes of many, Biden will still hold onto the reputation of being the President who helped Ukraine, even though we didn't try quite hard enough for them. I fear something very, very cynical has been going on for the entire war. And it cost billions.
