Fairness is a wonderful but Utopian concept. We can and should strive for it. But we should stop being surprised when it becomes elusive. Fairness does not exist in nature. While we should applaud attempts at fairness, fairness itself should be our main focus. It is not in nature, and we humans are part of the natural world. Let’s try to be really fair in our own every day lives and be glad that we are, and if enough do so we will get as close as we can.
