All of this AI-is-gonna-kill-everyone-within-10-years nonsense is just another Democrat fear mongering campaign to try to scare everyone into voting for them in the mid-terms. And the big AI companies are clamoring for regulation because they want to lock out competition from small upstart companies. It's a classic "Bootleggers and Baptists" arrangement.
