Congratulations on the appointment of a new Police Chief in North Wildwood. Please do not promote anyone to the rank of Deputy Police Chief. It is an unnecessary rank in a department the size of North Wildwood. A captain should be capable to substitute in the Chief's absence and could be compensated during that time. We are already paying for the unneeded Deputy Fire Chief position, which also is not needed and a burden to tax payers.
