What happened at 23rd Street on the Boardwalk?

North Wildwood - What happened at 23rd Street on the Boardwalk? There is a huge hole where they say an over-sized truck fell through the wood. The boardwalk should be off-limits to vehicles, especially large commercial types. It's bad enough we have people driving all over our beaches, now they are taking heavy equipment onto the boardwalk with dire consequences. Is there anything you can't do in North Wildwood for a fee?
