North Wildwood - Voices from the far-right continue to interpret the "right to bear arms" as the right for citizens to choose what laws to obey, and federal law-enforcement agents had better beware. This is not what our forefathers intended. In 2008, the Supreme Court recognized that the "right to bear arms" is an individual right, permitting law-abiding citizens to possess handguns in their home for their personal protection. The notion that this right includes ownership of semi-automatic weapons is ridiculous.
