North Wildwood - An Upper Township spout about teacher's health insurance is incorrect. Health insurance is a benefit, along with vacation, sick, and personal days. NJ has over 600 school districts and the state has mandated for the same insurance coverage; a move from a platinum plan to a gold plan due to the ACA insurance tax law. The platinum plans that did not switch over are paying insurance tax. My district did switch over and I am sure there are others who are also paying the insurance tax. I suggest you research it well independently and put outside opinions aside.
