North Wildwood - Surprisingly, a new Gallup poll indicates a vast majority of Americans oppose President Obama's program for increased immigration. Not surprisingly, opposition is strongest among those who compete with foreigners for jobs. According to the Brookings Institution, there are already 40 million foreign-born people here. Americans with advanced degrees and those in high paying professions could care less. They are not forced to compete with immigrants for jobs.
