North Wildwood - To the spouter who classified the expression “we owe our military for our freedom” as trite: Nothing can be truer than that so-called trite statement. The greatest deterrent to war is a strong, adequately staffed, well-equipped and trained military. If this were the case in the 1930’s, perhaps we would not have gone to war, Hitler would not have ravaged Europe and the Japanese would not have attacked Pearl Harbor. Veterans, past, present and in the future, thank you for our freedom.
