North Wildwood - Regarding the Court House spout on disrespectful, insulting teachers: You are right that adults can be just as guilty of bullying. Clearly there are a lot of teachers out there who are drunk with power. My daughter, now an adult, relayed to me that her first grade teacher laughed and mocked her dream of becoming a veterinarian, saying she 'could not imagine' her being a vet. My daughter has told me that she remembers the painful incident to this day, and the way this teacher made her feel. Teachers, never underestimate the impact you have, for good or bad, on a child's self-esteem.
