North Wildwood - To the person who claimed that conservative Republican lawmakers are targeting Social Security, and that seniors could see a major reduction in lifetime benefits: Actually, if left unchanged, the Social Security Trust Fund will become insolvent within 10 years. AT THAT TIME, YOUR BENEFITS WILL BE REDUCED. Also, the longer that lawmakers delay making changes, the more drastic the changes will need to be. Politicians who have the courage to propose changes, (few do because they fear backlash from people like you) should be applauded, not vilified. People opposing these changes are the problem.
