North Wildwood - Opening day ceremonies for The Greater Wildwood Little League (GWLL) were, at best, disappointing. In years past, championship teams from the previous year were recognized and given trophies for their accomplishments. This year, not one mention of it. When asked, a GWLL official said they didn't think it was a big deal. If you had been in attendance at last year's championship game to witness the come-from-behind win in the last inning and saw how elated those girls were, you would have realized just how big of a deal it was to them. GWLL, you really dropped the ball on this one!
