North Wildwood - The moderator note defended police inaction by saying “You try enforcing the law with your hands tied behind your back.” Your sentiments are well founded but why do we bother paying cops’ salaries if they aren’t going to “try” to do their jobs? The restrictions that have been lessened on cops need to be loosened even further. I think we agree on that but taxpayers aren’t paying their salaries for them NOT to do their job. If that is going to be the case, layoffs should occur so businesses can use that $ on private security.
