North Wildwood - Maryland Ave. wasn't closed to satisfy a few. Two blocks, Walnut and Chestnut, petitioned for it. Zaberers is no longer and no trucks have used Maryland for a truck route since it closed. A spouter is correct that Walnut is higher than Anglesea. However, when Anglesea floods Walnut becomes an island with Chestnut, Maryland and Anglesea underwater. There is nowhere to go. Last summer, a delivery driver was trapped on the street for three hours. Lastly, we did not ask for the Wawa. They already had a place in North Wildwood. They wanted a bigger building with the same amount of parking. Congestion? Don't blame it on the few.
