That is reserving a parking spot by placing a beach chair in the street and to even further stake your claim to the spot one sits in the above-mentioned beach chair. I encountered this in North Wildwood at 3rd and Atlantic avenues. I tried to park and not seeing the claimee sitting in the street nearly ran him over. Only his screams alerted me to an impending tragedy. Being 70 years old, a handicapped veteran and wanting to avoid a conflict, I went on my way. How does one handle a situation like this?
