North Wildwood - As I run the Boardwalk in the fall, I often wonder why the City of Wildwood doesn't replace the boards at two blocks per winter so that after a few years, several blocks will have been totally replaced. One can even use prison labor to offset some cost in the off-season. To spend $20 million to reconstruct 10 blocks is too much bonding in one shot for boards that will not last in the elements for 30 years. It's like taking a 30-year loan for an item that will last 10 years.
