North Wildwood - I read in the Herald the high salaries of the police and fire. Why do we the voters and people paying these high salaries allow police to live outside the town they are paid to protect. I've heard it’s because they can’t afford to live in the city they serve - like North Wildwood; yet, all of us retired people somehow afford to live here with only social security income. Stop the bull and make the officers live in the town they serve - as it will offer additional protection for us taxpayers. If Class II officers can live in the town, then full-time officers can live in the town.
