I parked at a municipal parking lot near the beach at 2nd street

North Wildwood - I parked at a municipal parking lot near the beach at 2nd street in N Wildwood. I have a pickup truck and a Disabled Veterans hang tag in my window. While I do appreciate the ability to park for free I don’t understand getting a ticket for my vehicle extended past the line, it was not designated as a small vehicle spot. The truck was as far back as the parking stop would allow. Maybe the ticket writer was mad because I park for free and wanted me to pay. Chalk $35.00 up to lesson learned.
