I cannot understand why people traveling over Rt.

North Wildwood - I cannot understand why people traveling over Rt. 147 and other critical crossing locations cannot slow down during this crucial time for female nesting turtles. It is an absolute slaughter and I am so disappointed in this town. Why can't people slow down for a measly 2.5 miles and why not drop and enforce a reduced speed limit during this time period to give these beautiful animals a chance? My father and I picked up a badly injured one and took her to the Wetlands Institute. They were unable to save her but they were able to save her 11 eggs and get them into an incubator. Please slow down!
