I am glad the Senate did not vote on the gas tax, and raising it

North Wildwood - I am glad the Senate did not vote on the gas tax, and raising it 23 cents at once is not wise. Why not raise the gas tax five cents a year for the next four years and max out at 20 cents? Plus, they are proposing to delay the reduction in the sales tax from 7 percent to 6 percent until 2018 just so that the next governor can eliminate that reduction because of a budget short fall.
