I am glad to read that the City of North Wildwood finally amende

North Wildwood - I am glad to read that the City of North Wildwood finally amended the lifeguard pension to a "20 and Out" after working the last 10 years consecutively for the city. My only concern is that the state statute that established the pension clearly states one needs to attain the age of 45 to be eligible as fully vested. I hope lawsuits do not ensue resulting from the change to state laws resulting in the city spending thousands on lawyer fees. I really hope this change was reviewed by a lawyer whose specialty is pensions.
